I could not be happier about our Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It was amazing! God showed us all so much love and provided not just a great meal but a great sense of unity and family. We had the blessing of opening our doors to dear friends who are like family.
This year was extra special for multiple reasons. It was our first thanksgiving away from home, the first one in our new home, the first one we were hosting, and the first one we celebrated along with Hanukkah. Thanksgivukkah 🙂
We had no empty space at our table, we had no stranger at home, only friends…I cannot express with words the joy that thought brings to my heart. The menu was perfect, everyone helped. The highlight of the night was the story of Hanukkah presented by my lovely sister and our charming neighbor; they taught us that finger puppets and music can make a little story feel epic.
The night was long and fun…but the details are irrelevant to the story 😉
